A nice ride today, quite warm, and mainly on road. My coat blew away somewhere en route so I lost my housekeys and cash card. Should have strapped it down better.

Day 20 – Winscombe to Tiverton – 58 miles

Another nice days ride once the mizzle had stopped. Starting to notice the west country a bit, very high hedges on farm roads make for thrilling descending as you can’t see round the corner, still no mishaps as yet. I met up with my friend from university Jeremy for an enjoyable pub meal.

Day 16 – Middlewich to Wolverhampton – 58 miles

Really nice ride today in near perfect conditions. Lots of canal path involved but not too much grass, some nice disused railway sections too. Very posh and huge hotel I’m staying in, feel a little out of place.

Lovely ride today, nice and sunny, lots of off road cycling by the canal and some parks. Still quite tired, they have Iron Maiden “The Trooper” ale on tap though so I’ll sink a few of those and see how.I feel.
