The Story of our JOGLE (10 x GPX Files Available on request)

It's 9 months since we finished and I'm only getting round to finishing the page, I wanted to offer something to those lucky souls who are going to tackle an E2E this year so below is the story and observations of our 10 day JOGLE along with a few hints and tips.

Thankfully the task was completed although not without a brush with the NHS along the way. That said there were three able bodied souls at the finish line courtesy of a bit of luck, my lovely partner Emma doing a bit of taxi work and the great British weather which was so kind to us. This website records everything from the day we started planning, all of the details of the plan and the whole story to the finish line. I found the advice of others was a good friend on this trip, I hope it will help you along your way - good luck!

As John said to me whilst in the depths of a 'January mood' brooding over poor fitness, poor diet and a winter full of infections. "If I sit and ask myself when I have felt most 'alive'?" - "It's when I was on the open road thinking only about yesterday, looking forward to tomorrow and grinding my way up a long incline with the sun on my back feeling you could achieve anything". For me that about sums it up, so it wont be the end of our adventures, indeed just the catalyst to the next one.

[I can provide anyone with the 10 GPX files of our tracked route if you want them, please email me through the contact page]
