I'm a keen cyclist (and double "end-to-ender") having had a career that started in the printing industry carried through to information technology and then a marketing and interim management business for about 20 years until I retired for the first time.  I came out of retirement in 2016 to work part-time and subsequently manage full-time, from early 2017, a local bike shop until it closed at the end of 2019.

Way back when I was in my teens I obtained a cycle maintenance certificate, refreshing that with a current Cytech qualification in 2017 - oh, and I also obtained the Boy Scouts Cycle Badge and passed the Cycling Proficiency Test at school!

Having returned to serious cycling at the end of the of the twentieth century I set-up my own workshop and over the years built, repaired, renovated quite a few bikes - including some classics.

I'm a member of two cycling clubs and also ride informally with a group of friends - including an annual overseas tour.

From 2005-2016 I organised 35 large MacRide/Shakespeare cycle rides at Stratford-upon-Avon raising in excess of £800,000 (net) for Macmillan Cancer Support.

The Bicycle Repair Man Services website is hosted at my www.cycle-endtoend.org.uk website for simplicity and convenience - and who knows, may even inspire riders to take on this great ride!

A personal website is also hosted here, www.beewee.org.uk - The other place  You may also stumble across my other website promoting wooden items that I make from recycled pallets and other timber.
